Sir Syed Memorial School[1] [2]is an English medium theology-based residential school in India. It is in Karma, Bhadeya in Barachatti block of Gaya district on G.T Road. It was established in 1992 to enlighten area with education (scientific and dinni both).

An English medium theology-based residential school, Sir Syed Memorial is about 35 km from Gaya is situated in a lush green and pollution- and noise-free atmosphere, ideal environment for students to study and develop skills. Presently, nearly 700 students are studying in the school. The school runs under the Minority Upliftment Society, registered by the government of Bihar, under Society Reg Act 21,1860, Reg No->594/2000-2001.
Sir Syed Memorial School is founded by Minority Upliftment Society at Karma, Bhadeya. Sir Syed Memorial School was established in 1992 by Haji Kamaluddin Khan (Alig) and his brother Mr. Jalal Uddin Khan. The school has played a pivotal role in increasing the level of education in society .
The student body comprises both day scholars and boarding students. Accommodation is provided to more than 100 boarding students within the on-site boys' hostel. The school's academic support services include one libraries, computer center, laboratory. Assignments and self-study materials are regularly distributed in all subjects. The Career Services Centre provides counselling and guidance to students, and also monitors their progress. Extra curricular activities are regularly held to motivate the students .
The school uses locally available teaching methods, and a result-oriented curriculum and evaluation system. It follows CBSE up to 7and then BSEB board.
Being in backward state like Bihar and spreading cheap and best light of education is an achievement in its own. Every year students from school got admission in universities like A.M.U., Aligarh, Jamia Milia University, Delhi, Jamia Hamdard and other universities.
